Branding

Coordinator: Ryan Scott

Staff: Anaïs Reiss, Renee Zhu, Tokyo Cui, Marie You, Clair Lee, Juan Leonard, Pin Kasemsri

Branding is a tight-knit team that directs the visual identity of the festival. Leading up to Festival Week, we curate the year's color palette, typography, and aesthetics which we use for posters, merch, and social media. Essentially, we oversee the graphics that are put out by IFF.

The Business team is responsible for making and managing the festival's budget, procuring company and in-kind sponsorships, and applying for local and federal grants. From getting drinks such as Yerba Mate for all festival events to establishing partnerships with companies like Bumble, the team builds long-lasting relationships with a diverse array of sponsors.

Events

Coordinator: Ai Okura, Lucia Kim

Staff: Gianna Kin, Danni Lagdameo, Isabelle Wang, Merissa Underwood, Nina Li

The Events team is the brains behind Brown’s most iconic parties, Festival Week workshops, and ALL sorts of happenings for both College Hill students and communities beyond. Our jobs include booking unique venues in the Providence area, finding upcoming artists to highlight at our events, and dreaming up the coolest themes and decor.

New Media

Coordinator: Tiffany Huang, Cindy Peng

Staff: Sarya Baran Kılıç, Manuela Sepulveda, Mabel Taiwo

New Media is any media that doesn’t fit within the confines of a traditional 2D film. New Media shown at IFF has historically included a mix of virtual reality films, augmented reality apps, 3D projection art, interactive displays, sound installations and more! Our team spends the school year finding creative ways to bring new media to campus through workshops and screenings, culminating in our New Media Exhibition during Festival Week.

Outreach

Coordinators: Dylann Tjahaja, Andrea Fuentes

Staff: Andrew Junwon Lee, Christopher Zou, Tyler Fischman, Tyler Tom, Noemi Elliot, Maia Riggs, Ciara Leonard, Sofia Benedetti, Amelie Tsao

The outreach department connects IFF to the broader Providence community, making the film industry more accessible for all. Our goal is making IFF go beyond Brown’s campus. Outreach wants to encourage the next generation of student filmmakers by exposing them to the festival’s resources and other film-related opportunities. Initiatives include building an alumni database, hosting arts workshops and events with local Providence schools and organizations, and developing intercollegiate partnerships.
